City Care proudly provides services to over 1.8 million people throughout New Zealand. We keep an eye on the future, working with our clients to create new infrastructure and amenity assets for the well-being and enjoyment of people throughout our communities, 365 days a year.

Our clients include local and central government authorities and major owners of infrastructure and assets including educational institutions and commercial businesses. We also undertake work for other contracting companies and private individuals.
We employ approximately 1,000 staff across 15 operational branches throughout the North and South Islands.
Established in 1999, City Care has an annual turnover of approximately $141 million. City Care is a Council Controlled Trading Organisation (CCTO) operating under the Local Government Act 2002. Our sole shareholder, Christchurch City Holdings Ltd (CCHL) , is one of New Zealand’s top 100 companies with total assets at 30 June 2009 in excess of $2.1 billion.
