Onno Mulder, Chief Executive Officer

Onno joined City Care in 2000 as Divisional Manager - Civil Engineering, moving into the roles of Northern Regional Manager in 2002 and Southern Regional Manager in 2004, before being appointed Chief Executive in late 2005. As Chief Executive, Onno is focused on City Care's successful operation including overseeing the successful implementation and operation of all contracts, providing direction for the company's strategic development and monitoring financial and operational outputs. With over 22 years operational and management experience within the engineering and contracting industries, Onno contributes significant expertise and ability to City Care's business. 

Jono Brent, National Business Development Manager

Jono joined City Care in 2003, holding various operational and commercial management positions across the business before being appointed as National Business Development Manager in 2006.  Jono is responsible for City Care's strategic growth, focusing on developing and enhancing service offerings company-wide, maintaining successful relationships and developing new contract models. Jono also manages company communications and all major tenders, acquisitions and business development projects.  Prior to working for City Care, Jono was a Corporate Financial Consultant for Deloitte. 

Denise Bowen, Business Processes Manager

Denise joined City Care in 2000 as Roading Operations Manager, before being appointed Business Processes Manager in 2001.  Denise is responsible for championing the implementation and maintenance of best practice management systems throughout City Care's operations including the business support areas of health, safety, quality and environmental management.   Denise has lead City Care in achieving certification to national and international standards in these areas.  Prior to City Care, Denise held various management and engineering roles within local government.

Barry Clark, Chief Information Officer

Barry joined City Care in 1999 working in a variety of management roles within the IT department before being appointed as Chief Information Officer in 2006.  In his role, Barry has overall responsibility for the best management and deployment of City Care's IT network. Barry has comprehensive knowledge of the business processes, operational requirements and informational needs of City Care and our clients. This enables him to identify technologies that can be best deployed to build efficiencies internally and deliver benefits to our clients.  Prior to joining City Care, Barry held several technical management positions at Christchurch City Council. 

Tim Gibson, General Manager - Northern Region

Tim joined City Care in early 2006 as General Manager - Northern Region. A qualified engineer, Tim has over 21 years experience in the construction and infrastructure maintenance industries. In his role, Tim is responsible for building and strengthening City Care's operations within the North Island.  This includes providing leadership to City Care's contract management teams and support to senior executives within our northern region clients.  Tim is also responsible for executive management of contract transitions within the region, ensuring implementation timetables and deliverables are met.  Prior to joining City Care, Tim held senior management roles within the New Zealand contracting industry.

Peter Hansby, General Manager - Southern Region

Peter joined City Care in 2003 as Operations Manager - Roading Construction, moving into the role of Divisional Manager - Roading, before being appointed General Manager - Southern Region in 2008.  Peter's role involves taking a strategic overview of City Care's operations within the Southern Region, including providing strategic direction and advice to contracts, and ensuring that clients' objectives are met.  Peter is also responsible for executive management of contract transitions within the region, ensuring implementation timetables and deliverables are met.  Before joining City Care, Peter worked in senior engineering roles within local government and the wider national consulting industry.

Dean Johnson, Chief Financial Officer

Dean joined City Care in April 2008 as Chief Financial Officer.  In his role Dean has overall responsibility for managing the City Care's finance functions.  This includes financial reporting to City Care's board and all stakeholders, and overseeing the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.  With over 22 years experience, Dean has held a range of finance and management roles in both New Zealand and Europe.  Prior to joining City Care, Dean was Chief Financial Officer/Director of a private investment group based in Christchurch.

Peter Lord, Professional Services Manager

Peter joined City Care in 2002 and has held various project and operational management roles, including that of Divisional Manager - Facilities Management, Construction and Fleet Services. As Professional Services Manager, Peter is responsible for developing company-wide strategies across procurement, and facilities, asset and fleet management services.  Most recently, Peter has led the successful bid and transition process for City Care's facilities maintenance contract in Wellington. Prior to joining City Care, Peter worked within the environmental management service industries in New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

Adrian Watson, Human Resources Executive

Adrian joined City Care in December 2006 as Human Resources Manager.  In his role, Adrian is responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resource management systems across City Care's business.  These systems focus on the ongoing capability and efficiency of City Care's people, with an emphasis on building sustainable partnerships which support business performance.  Adrian brings to City Care a strong background in human resource development and management with Tait Electronics and within the New Zealand mining industry.
