Watermark was the first of Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority's (CERA) Anchor Projects to be developed for the Christchurch rebuild.

In May 2012 the Rotary Club of Christchurch approached City Care to support their efforts to repair the South New Brighton Primary School.

City Care completed the redevelopment of this major arterial road between Oxford and Kaiapoi on time and on budget.

City Care reconstructed Rydal Street as part of the Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT) work. 

City Care was engaged by Z Energy to undertake the civil works contract as part of the overall redevelopment project for Z's Lyttelton Site One.

On behalf of our client, Gillman Wheelans Ltd, City Care has completed stages 1, 2 and 4 and Stages 5-7 of the Preston Downs subdivision in West Melton, Christchurch. This project totals approximately $8.5 million. 

Visitors of all ages were encouraged to explore their playful side when visiting City Care's exhibition garden at the 2012 Ellerslie International Flower Show.

The existing retaining wall near to the historic Curator's Cottage in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens was in a state of failure, causing sections of the riverbank to slump into the Avon River. This created an environmental and health and safety issue for the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and its visitors.
